(SEATTLE, WA, 12/5/2017) – On Wednesday, December 6, the Washington state chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Washington) will join a coalition of organizations for #NoMuslimBanEver rally in downtown Seattle tomorrow. This week the U.S. Supreme Court stayed federal court injunctions that had, until today, largely prevented the Trump administration from implementing Muslim Ban 3.0's visa restrictions.
Although this decision allows Muslim Ban 3.0 to go into effect now, the court could still find it unconstitutional at a later date. The rally is timed to coincide with the 9th Circuit Court's Hearing of Muslim Ban case Hawaii v. Trump.

Rally will begin at 12:45 PM and includes representatives from communities impacted by The Ban and legal experts. Rally will end at 2:00 PM in time for the 9th Circuit Court hearing which is from 2PM-3PM at the Nakamura Courthouse.
“This ban has caused extreme hardship among American Muslims in our community, cutting them off from their families and furthering the bigoted and discriminatory policies and agenda of this administration,” said Jasmin Samy, CAIR-WA Civil Rights Director, “We stand together against this threat to our nation and the civil liberties of our communities.”
