CAIR to Co-Sponsor Film Screening, Anti-Islamophobia Program at Md. College

Muslims-WorldPremierePoster(Washington, D.C., 3/13/15) – On April 2, 2015, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) will co-sponsor a screening of The Muslims Are Coming! as part of a daylong anti-Islamophobia program entitled "Combating Islamophobia on Campus, in Our Community, and Around the World." The event is free and open to the public.

CAIR-San Diego: Muslims to Feed the Homeless in Memory of Chapel Hill Shooting Victims

CAIR-logo(SAN DIEGO, CA, 2/27/15) – The San Diego Office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-San Diego), in collaboration with local community organization AKhwaty Incorporated, is dedicating this month's "A place at the Table" event to feed the homeless to the memory of the three Muslim youth shot to death recently in Chapel Hill, N.C. The shooting victims were known for their community service initiatives.

CAIR-Kansas to Join Wichita Vigil for Muslim Victims of North Carolina Shootings

CAIR-KS-logo(WASHINGTON, D.C., 2/19/15) -- On Friday, February 20, the Kansas chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, will join Wichita State University's Muslim Student Association and the Global Awareness Student Project at a vigil to honor the memory of three young Muslims who were killed in Chapel Hill, N.C., and to give the community an opportunity to stand in unity against hate and violence.
